Re: MINI Warranty T's & C's?

If it's Specialist Cars in Stevenage, they are quite well known in the locale - for the right reasons.

just a thought -the alarm bells are ringing in you mind (with good reason), there are plenty of Minis (and better cars!) out there...............walk away!

Re: Motors by the Moat 13th May 2018

OK, we're booked in and paid up! Details to follow, but need to be parked up by 0900 - our friends in the BMW Enthusiasts Sout East will be joining us, so potentially 30+ on the stand.......and they're doing bacon rolls at a quid! Stay tuned (subscribe to this thread) for details nearer the time/as ...

Re: Motors by the Moat 13th May 2018

I will check when I book us all in, but believe we need to be on stand by 0900 (it's open at 0730)....bacon rolls at a quid on our stand too I'm promised!

The passes are apparently issued by e-mail (to me) so will be easy to pass on.

Re: MINI Warranty T's & C's?

Strange!! My understanding is that only (proper) BMW M cars need a 'running-in' service at around 1000-1500 miles and even that is only an oil/filter change. None of the other models need any servicing other than when the CBS says so.................so I reckon the Mini dealership is wrong? Any serv...

Re: Key fob not opening car E61

OK, I'm now in after breaking the window. The keyfob is still not opening or closing the car. I have checked and people are advising the reciever unit in the boot is at fault. If this is at fault why would the radio be working? as this module works the FM radio and the and i think the de-mister or ...

Re: MINI Warranty T's & C's?

Thanks M60NJP, The mini is petrol fueled. I guess the easy solution would be to go to the local MINI dealership and ask, though not sure whether they would be interested in answering questions about a vehicle they weren't supplying! A good dealership should respond helpfully - you could simpy say y...

Re: MINI Warranty T's & C's?

The modern Mini has BMW's 'Condition Based Servicing' whereby the car flags up on the dash when certain items are due, based upon mileage, usage etc etc, so a low mileage example that has been used on a decent 'run' every so often may well go some while before needing servicing. However - but I don'...
