Rusty seat bases

Post by theotherjohn » 22 Sep 2012, 13:41

There are widespread reports
http://f20.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=743476" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
starting in the far east of rusty seat bases. The vast majority of cases seem to be cosmetic with no indication of any structural weakness but it's not what one expects on a "premium" car.
So far I've found no official response from BMW UK.

Hmm. Not great, but a little surface rust that would brush off with a wire brush seems to be creating a lot of fuss in some parts?

You don't seem very happy with your purchase?
