2005 E46 330Ci Sport Convertible Breaking

Post by FAB_BMW » 05 Dec 2017, 10:50

Hey guys, finally got around to breaking up the old girl, rather than listing up individual bits and being here all day, if there is anything you want just post it up, and I’ll get a picture and price up.

The car suffered from front end damage, so the front bumper, lights and bonnet have had it. The damage also impacted into the engine bay, pushing the engine back. This was a very very well loved car, and it would be nice for the parts to work their way onto other loved cars.

Thanks,

Fred.

Hi Mate,

Hopefully I can help you out!! Looking for the unit next to the handbrake with the roller shutter on it as that's buggered on Ruth's M3, also the centre consul ( the plastic on the pop up doors on the cubby holes has started to peel ) so those parts and interested in the steering wheel, as Ruths cars one is mank.

There may be other bits as I think!!

Cheers

Hi mate, it hasn’t got the roller tray it’s got the Bluetooth tray. Also it’s gray, and if your M3 is the same colour inside as my one, then I assure yours is black?

Steering wheel is quite good, I’ll get some pictures up for you tomorrow when I get back from work in the morning.

The hood was very good, but during the accident the anti roll protection popped up and damaged it due to the roof being up at the time. Mine used to suffer with green algae, I found the best combination for snow foam and a proper hood brush.

@theguvnor

Just taken some pics and had a good look over the steering wheel, it’s in ok condition, but it’s worn on the right hand side as shown in the pictures. Would be ideal for a retrim, meaning you wouldn’t have to have the car off the road. You can have it for £60 delivered if it’s any good to you.
