Post by Brera » 18 Feb 2015, 12:35

In my 1 series 3 door the window motor broke down. Did anyone experienced it?

Nope - have one myself and don't recall anyone on here posting about it - by 'broken' you mean the motor itself is dead?

On a frosty morning I wanted to open the door. Window needs to go down a bit but it didn't. Since then I can't open the driver side window.

Yes, that was the first thing I suspected but it's fine.

Check the switch....but it does indeed seem like the motor has cremated itself.

(Get some silicon spray on the door seal!!)
