E46 GPS Sat Nav Advise

Post by tailorbmw » 08 Dec 2014, 16:52

After months I've finally manage to get a refund on the Chinese unit i Brought off ebay, Man what i headache that was. Anyway I don't want to make the same mistake again so am looking for some advise before I make my next purchase. Can anyone recommend me a decent Headunit with all the bits like satnav, DVD etc etc? I've got about £300 to spend.

Cheers
Bhav

I think the silence on this one Bhav is due to the 'best brand' being a matter of taste/past experience and in this case also the GIU of the unit - we alll have different views on colour, lay-out etc etc.

Although I don't do much car audio, I do have a couple of suppliers so if you chose the one you like, I'll see what the trade can offer price-wise?

Cheers Neil, nothing wrong with the standard cd and changer in the boot. Buy I fancy a change. Built in sat nav in the dash would be great and be able to play mp3s off a sd card would save on the CDs

Ahh I know the one your talking about the OEM version. I opted out of the oem version as it features are very dated.

I've just brought another double din, this time it's android 4.2.2. Looks a much better build then the last one so once it's fitted I'll get some pics up
