2-Series Active Tourer

Article stolen from Autocar.

OK, not really very exciting but could be a big seller in Europe and maybe for Soccer Mums in the U.S.? The 228i will perhaps be a massive deteriorater and a bargain in years to come?

Not my sort of car but looks OK?

OH dear, fwd on a BMW and fudging the new numbering system (2 series but 4 door) looks like BMW are getting ever more like
Mercedes offering loads of different models and just becoming plain confusing !!!!!

I like the interior (top of the range, leather option no doubt...) but the outside could be any generic Mazda, Mercedes, Toyota type mini-MPV thing... Hope they aren't losing their way too much.... :)

Just to clear this one up once and for all...............It's not about the amount of doors it has it's about the chassis it adopts

4 series Gran coupe = 4 doors not 2
2 series active tourer = 4 doors not 2

Forget doors think platform

I do agree that BMW are going into meltdown with the variants.......SE, Sport, Modern, Luxury and M Sport

It's all getting so confusing.. They need to get back to basics.. See what the customer really wants. :-)

Maybe.....but bear in mind these are the revenue generators that allow the development and production of the low-volume exciting models!.........
