E90 325d auto box

Post by gaz_2015 » 30 Oct 2017, 22:50

My gear box is sort of slipping between 4th and 5th gear under hard acceleration....

It goes through the gear fine but when you change it seems to not go into gear then give a massive jerk and then go into 5th gear...

Am I looking at a new gear box or would I be lucky enough to only need a new torque converter?? Any help will be much appreciated.

Supposed to be sealed for life but that only lasts 100k miles! Change the fluid first which is the cheap option
