Gem's 2006 1.6 Vauxhall Zafira B

Post by Gem » 30 Nov 2017, 19:25

So with the CMAX going back to the dealership due to being fubar'd last Saturday, I had a few days to find a new car. Monday I went with a friend to look at a Zafira..

It's a 2006 1.6 with 78200 miles on the clock in Ultra Blue.

I love it apart from the previous owner left it with no fuel so I have now a spluttery thingy every now and then. Didn't do it on the test drive though annoyingly. ;;)

Looks nice Gem, Ultra Blue is a gorgeous colour, used to be my favourite colour to spray back in the day.

As for the spluttering, do you get an engine management light pop up when it does it?

Yeah it's been coming on every now and then. It popped up a few days ago yet soon as I put premium fuel in it, the light's gone off again. Pedal test comes back as lean fuel each time. It's having a service tomorrow then next week will be booked into get it tested and fixed :)

Even with the niggles i'm getting around 400-450 on a full tank. I love it but then I'm easily pleased hah.
