Re: Looked at an M3 tonight...
Plenty of them out there, seems to be getting worse but that's probably just due to the amount of drivers/cars on the road now

Re: Looked at an M3 tonight...
Ruths M3 has had the airbag recall done this week, and with her jammy luck with courtesy cars ended up with a new 440i M Sport. Which she didn't rate at all. All very nice, fast but ride far too harsh for her even in Comfort. Not as nice riding as the M3! And she wasn't too keen on the thick a pillars and their blind spot. Well thats saved me 45 odd k!!
Got some work planned that I will hopefully get done in the next two months, mainly sort the bubbled wing mirror mounts, acne bumper and bonnet. Oh and the rear boot light units and new headlight covers.
Just a few bits!

I just had a god read through, I LOVE the interior colour!!
I've never used Dodo juice, is it easy to remove on a hot car do you know? I use some Meguires clear coat liquid stuff, it's superb but really hard to stop it looking streaky on the carbon black colour.

Cheers Cliff, just used the gloss enhancing shampoo so far and its been really good, yet to get round to any of their waxes to be honest. Their glass cleaner is ace as well ( best I've used ).
For comparison I've been using Meguiars Gold Class for the past couple of washes and both are comparable in result.
Interior really does stand out, unfortunately so does the busted drivers side bolster! Had two prices to repair ( new panel needed can't be re sown ) one with the passenger seat getting stained to match the new panel ( about £450 ) and another taking the seat out myself and dropping off/collecting came in at £150.

Re: Looked at an M3 tonight...
Finally i have had a day where i can give the M3 a good clean and take pics of the new lenses all round. I had a right result, BMW ordered the incorrect rear boot lenses ( they got muddled up with my F10 and ordered Bumper reflectors! ) and they didn't charge me the extra ( paid £40 for the pair rather than £120! ) and i ended up with a new pair of front OEM indicators after one of the after market smoked ones fell out on the way back from having the headlight lenses fitted ( my indie stumped up for them
)
So glad to be rid of the faded scratched rear boot reflectors and buggered headlight covers! I ordered a set of new side repeaters as well. Looks sooo much better!
