In boot 6 CD changer

Post by Dave1970 » 17 Sep 2017, 21:03

Hi there, new to the forum, so apology if this has been covered before...

I have a 2003 320ci se coupe,
First thing in the morning when i start my car if i play a cd its really distorted, if i remove the cd cassette from the unit in the boot and take it inside for half hour, then refit it the cds play fine.
It suggests that the cd system in the boot is suffering from moisture, but the boot is always perfectly dry, with no signs of moisture what so ever, also when i remove the cds they have no sign of moisture.... So im confused.

Any ideas please would be very helpful...
Cheers.
Dave.

To be brutal Dave, replacements are easily available and cheap as people often upgrade, so I's simply bin it and get another on EBay?

I'd agree, cheap as chips so wouldn't bother messing around with it
