Does anyone recognise this 320i Touring Automatic ?

Postby TheRoosterina325Ci » 13 Jun 2017, 10:48

Hi to you all out there. Well I have been affected by the E46 bug and having recently sold my 2004 Volvo D5 SE Geartronic (scarred off diesel by the recent goings-on and the low mileage that I was doing in it),I took the plunge and searching and searching for a 325i Touring Automatic I settled for a 2003 2.2 litre Touring Automatic.

The 2002 325Ci Convertible Automatic is what started it.

The car came from a dealer in Stafford - does anyone recognise it ?

Ignorance of a complex subject is often described as bliss, but in the case of the complexities of an E46 it sometimes also needs deep pockets.

Hi cockneyrebel. Thank you but I have been registered and first posted during April 2016.

That is actually what I am trying to discover - whether anyone does recognise the car or indeed whether the/a previous owner/registered keeper actually does recognise it.
I would have thought that the spats/eyebrows would have been a dead give-away.
The car was previously owned/registered to someone living in Stafford.

I am actually looking for a little info about the car as I have only very recently acquired it. In my experience writing to the last registered keeper only brought a zero response.

Hi again to you all. Well after having bought the rather OK 320i Touring knowing that the two front wings were seriously bodged and then discovering that the EML light did not want to extinguish and it was not just a simple fix that might have been as a result of over-fueling because of starting and quickly switching off - I had it fixed - not a cheap job and then I booked it in for some new front wings.

Well I am very pleased with the result and the car no-longer reminds me of the bodged attempt to hide the inevitable with cheap plastic eyebrows/spats.
I had the work carried out at a local bodyshop in Southport and I would certainly recommend them for what they have done with my car.
