30k miles since Jan and had to book the F10 in for some warranty work. The widescreen sat nav has played up a couple of times, screen goes blank and i loose not only the sat nav but also phone connection, audio and parking sensors.

They have run the diagnostics and the answer came back re programme, which takes between 2 to 8 hours. Of course mine is taking 8 hours so has an overnight stay at the dealership! Im currently zooming around in a 220d M Sport X Drive. Very nippy, goes very well. Interior a bit low rent after the F10 though, the satnav a big down grade.

I do like the way the x drive pulls you round the tight corners under hard acceleration though, makes it feel very nimble.

Got her booked into my indie for her next service and will be having the 8 speed ZF box serviced as well. Also looking at OEM spec tints to the rear windows, got a long run down France later this month.

MPG has crept up, 47.3mpg! Switching between modes seems to not make much difference, but i tend to leave her in comfort most of the time.

I'll be running the F10 up 200k miles now, so i'll be looking at a timing chain change at around 100k miles and probably a new turbo some point over 150k unless I'm lucky.

BMW leather still shit...wear on the drivers bolster! The Oyster Leather likes to pick up a bit of colour from my jeans, i just give the seat a leather clean once a month that tends to sort that.

Probably looking at high 50's for my mileage this year, but i've got the best motor for it.

Why did I only get mid/high 30s on almost entirely motorway/A roads when I borrowed one?

Pass then! An update the re programme didn't work so a complete new Sat Nav unit is being installed today. Dread to think what the cost is on one of those! I may carry on the warranty for at least another year after it runs out in December....
