Not much room left under the bonnet in that one!!

Sounds the nuts though.

Thanks for the comments guys, also please ignore the you tube description . Actually engine room was not the big fitment problem , at the time my other half had a 745 and i measured her engine bay versus mine and they
were virtually the same .However i did not take into account that the v12 is an inclined 30 degree v12 meaning it was taller than the v8 it was replacing. To get it to fit as low as pos mean't an entire new subframe had to made
from scratch and a good deal of head scratching to get the front arb re-installed. The n72 is a rare beast of an engine(only380 in uk)so this one came out of a left hooker which mean't custom headers, then another problem was the
stickshift on all 7's it is a column change , so there was a lot of messing around with the gearbox to reconfig to a stick shift. Finally there was the dreaded idrive and dme hardcoding to overcome. For those of you who do not know what
hardcoding is this how oem ties the electronic components(heater, dash, ice, dme) to the chassis. It took two long years to finally crack the dme alignment .

Sounds like a whole load of shite to go through but the end result with that SOUND is all worth it!!

I did my exhaust sound 'on the cheap' - you'll have to look me up at Gaydon and I'll give it a blast, not as sophisticated as the V12 though!

The exhaust system was configured on the v8 engine and as a v8 man i confess that i preferred the more 'raw' sound of the v8 engine on idle, where the v12 excels is at wot.
But my fav is coming off throttle and hearing it spit crackle and pop through the stainless headers AWESOME.
Def have to have a listen to yours lewy, will be quite jealous as sootchuckers with no mufflers just sound fecking pants infact they just sound fecking pants fullstop.

Am up for that but it will have to wait till next year as she is sorn at the moment, but hope to give her a bit of a makeover through the winter, however there is a que here
as 135 stage 2 is going to take priority when the sootchucker build is finished.
