Dim rear brake light

Post by jashammy » 29 Jan 2014, 16:23

Just found out 1 of my brake lights isn't working properly,it's still working but it's only very dim, there LED'son the back,so does mean it's gone or are they like other bulbs there either work or they don't

What could cause it to be dim ?

Thanks.

Usually LEDs either work or? don't but like any 'bulb' can be affected by current and/or earth. Might be easiest/quickest to swap units and see if the problem occurs with the other unit wired in? Very simple to remove I recall?
