Squeeky bum time!

M6 going into the garage with engine knock on start up and EML on! Uh oh....

Codes might suggest vanos issues but as I couldn't get it into the usual BM indy near me until the 20th so I used a friend who owns a local garage for now. You could say this is unlucky but as I'm about 6 days INSIDE of 6 months I have the consumer rights act on my side. I've already contacted the relevant people and whilst a battle may well ensue with the dealer, this should be resolved at no cost to me. In the meantime, I'm in the Z3 and actually loving it!

Watch this space until after the 20th once the BM lads have diagnosed properly. After a little reading, it could be anything from a simple solenoid to pump failure. If pump failure that could be bits in the engine and shell bearing failure if not cleared also.
