Thanks for the encouragement! :(( :((

One of the problems with long-term (aka slow!) restos is forgetting how things went together....made worse by the fact it was partially dismantled when I got it! However, a lot of photos as it came apart helps....plus a good workshop manual.

There are fewer and fewer parts left unattached which is encouraging, but each step reveal something missing, damaged or beyond hope! Today I decided to reinstall the pedal connections - throttle & clutch cables plus the brake operating bar. Whilst not very exciting, it's gone from this:

To this:

However the throttle cable is at/beyond its useful life so that plus a couple of carburettor parts will be ordered tomorrow....more £££!

I realigned the engine mounts again - they just didn't seem right, so a simple bottle jack and some wrestling seems to have improved matters.

Lastly, I tacked the job I'd been avoiding - finishing off the Dynastart. I'm not particularly good with electrics and the Isetta has this unique combined starter/dynamo thing. Anyway, I bought a reconditioned unit way back and had the cooling fan blasted/sprayed, blew the finial over with a rattle can and bought a 2nd hand advance/retard thing ( I think that's what it's for!). Fortunately the 'thing' locates with a woodruff key so only fits one way. Some new nuts and it now looks like this:

I'm please with that. I'm edging closer to trying to start the thing!!........

Was suffering from a mahoosive hangover last weekend in Vegas and watched an episode of Chasing Classic Cars in the hotel room, had one of these on and thought of this build instantly. Glad you've got the show on the road, not sure what the end plan is but was impressed with the money they go for in the states
