Post by tannan » 15 Apr 2017, 19:23

Hello allI thought I mite as well start my project thread Just to state it's going to start of as a slow project that I hope is going to take time to keep my interest in it.
As I have also been looking at a 2nd bmw msport to take the place of our Ford Fiesta 03 plate with 17500 miles on it yes that right 17500 was my mums car Its my replacement after giving up my company car for a van.
The 1st week I got the car I orded a boot liner and a full set of mats.
The 1st weekend I took the grills out a rapped them in gloss black on the kitchen table you should have seen her face grill kitchen table her hair dryer hahaha
This is what it looked like on the day it was picked up

I paid £10550 for the car not bad as they wanted over £12k

So far this is what I have done to it and it's all down hill from now on
Also I have had to strip the heater motor out from under the glove box as it was ticking and found some twigs in there.
This is aparantly somthing that can happen on the f30 as there is no mesh over the air inlet bmw now have a retro fit part that they will fit to stop this.
Heater now work perfect and it's now so quiet you have to look on the dash to see if it's on
