Here's the original eBay snaps I got while still intoxicated =))

One of the first things i noticed on picking the car up was a slight listing from the rear, shown here with a picture of both sides of the car...

So I decided to buy new dampers and ancillaries for the rear suspension..... while that was on order I thought now might be a good time to remove all the Msport badges from my SE car
No pictures of it de-badged but I did get a few of the wheels.... I'm not one for aftermarket alloys but I do think these wheels really suit the car... however those faded M badges had to go...

Much better and although not genuine BMW wheels the badges really set the wheels.. and the car off

Next up interior... as I said before the leather was absolutely filthy...

So start cleaning using a hand held steamer firstly....

All came up rather well so time to tackle the scratches and worn bolsters...

Had a little snoop around the engine bay looking in general to see if any problems were hiding under the covers... nothing major really...
Image
Image

Cylinder 6 spark plug and coil was a little rusty but was just on the surface..

Image

Cylinder 2 or 3 had a little oil in there.... all cleaned up to see if it was just a spillage as the padding under engine cover was wet... hopefully it's just overkill from a previous top up.

Image
Plugs look... well like plugs...however things look a little wetter around the front of the engine.... Maybe the famous oil filter housing gasket maybe ??

This will need a clean up and investigating further... however it's not a problem..... it's not losing excessive oil

The only problem I actually have had with the car was ao2 sensor issue...
Image

Easy job...... not !!!
Image

Job done so I thought.... New errors came up though...
Bank 2 errors this time... so fit this.....
Image

Turns out i damaged the bank 2 sensor when blindly tightening up bank one.....All lights off and running sweet now
