Track Day 14th Nov Bedford Autodrome

Post by Lewy » 23 Oct 2016, 12:18

Hi all, Piers and I have booked ourselves onto a trackday on Monday 14th Nov via http://www.trackdays.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

If anyone fancies joining us you're most welcome. Here's a run down:

Cost £99
£30 for garage hire (optional)
£10 for helmet hire (if you don't already have one)
£20 for tuition (optional)
Non driving passengers £5 or £20 if you want to drive.

Just to state the obvious this is to run your own car.

Morning consists of driver briefing followed by siting laps then pretty much 9 til 1pm open pitlane, then track opens again 2pm til dusk, then home.

If you're up for it just head over to the website listed above, find the date / track and book yourselves in and we'll see you there Image

£99 for a track day is good "Bedford is a tad boring" but it has good run off so quite car safe like most airfield tracks it can be a bit hard on tyres
I don't have a car to use as it's winter in my head so all my good cars are tucked up and in hibernation I only tax them for 6 months in summer
Have a good day
And get some photos
Life's to short to be driving boring cars
It's all about the old school

Thanks buddy. We deliberately chose Bedford for it's beginner friendly status and have also paid for some tuition.

I've got to do something to wear the Z3 tyres, they'll perish before they wear out! Image

Will defo get some pics and post up ;)

The aim is to keep doing them chaps so providing the car stays alive for long enough should be every couple of months or so

Thanks buddy!

Yes, well and truly mate. There are 4 of us going to Oulton, E93 M3, 2 x E46 M3s and my Z. At least I'm guaranteed a lift when mine gives up!
