New tyres recommendation

Post by ALBOZ » 27 Aug 2017, 17:43

Hi everyone!
Need new sets of tyres for my X5 3.0d Sport 2005, I've maneged to search around and came down to three type of tyres:
-HANKOOK Ventus S1 evo2
-NOKIAN Z-line SUV
-DUNLOP SP Quattro Maxx

Can anyone recommend any of these tyres or should I go for other types?

Thanx

Many choices and preferences! Falken, Kumho and Uniroyal are generally the preferred brands on this Forum!!

I've tried a few on various 4x4's I've had. I'm a Continental fan and their Contact 5 SUV is a pretty good all rounder.

Noise is quite an issue so always best to check this out when comparing large tyres

I run Continentals on my 2005 X5 and have never had any complaints, I also use Conti M&S's in Winter.
I had a set of Nokian Winters a few seasons ago and they were excellent, recommended to me by a Norwegian customer who was running them on an E70
